With local COVID19 rates rising amongst younger people in Knowsley, the NHS is now urging anyone aged 18 and over to book their first vaccination appointment without delay.
Everyone who is 18 or over is now eligible to receive a Covid-19 vaccine, and those aged 39 and under and pregnant women will be offered the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine in line with updated national guidance.
You can book an appointment at a local vaccination centre now, go to: www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or by ringing 119.
The covid vaccination offers you the best protection against the virus, and we need as many people as possible to be vaccinated before restrictions are lifted.
The NHS has already delivered over 62 million Covid-19 vaccinations nationally since the programme was first launched six months ago.
Four in five adults in England have now received their first dose of the jab, and three in five have already been fully vaccinated after receiving two doses.
The NHS is also now contacting people aged 40 and over, to bring forward their second dose, with the NHS booking service now showing earlier time slots available for those who are eligible to re-book their second dose.
All adults can book their first appointment now at: www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or by calling 119.
