Trade Union (Facility Time) Regulations 2017

The Trade Union (Facility Time Publication Requirements) Regulations 2017

These regulations require public sector employers to publish, on an annual basis, a range of data in relation to their usage and spend on trade union facility time. The purpose of this is to promote transparency and public scrutiny of facility time and, where appropriate, encourage public sector employers to moderate the amount of money spent on facility time in the light of that scrutiny.
