NHS England - Public Consultation

NHS England want your feedback.

NHS England has launched a 30 day public consultation starting on 5th February on a proposed number of new products for specialised services, (including service specifications and clinical commissioning policies). There has already been extensive engagement on these national specifications and policies, as they have been developed with the support and input of lead clinicians and patient and public representatives.

There are nine  areas which NHS England would like your views on:

·        Renal denervation for Resistant Hypertension
·        Surgical correction for pectus deformity (all ages)
·        Robotic assisted surgery for oesophago-gastric cancers
·        Robotic assisted lung resection for primary lung cancer   
·        Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) for adults with Parkinson's tremor and Familial Essential Tremor
·        Amifampridine phosphate for the treatment of Lambert-Easton Myasthenic Syndrome
·        Extra corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) service for adults with cardiac failure
·        Use of Plerixafor for Stem Cell Mobilisation (Update to include paediatrics)
·        Plasma-derived C1-esterase inhibitor for Prophylactic treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) types I and II
